On Tuesday 1st March 2022, I had the great pleasure of attending Lodge Old Monkland St James 177, where I witnessed a truly excellent rendition of the FC degree.
It was also a great privilege to be invited to the East, along with Bro Scott Walker the RWM of 203.
As this was the annual visitation of PGL, a large and distinguished deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Lanarkshire MW was admitted and received by the acting RWM. The deputation was ably led by DPGM Bro. Norman Carnegy, accompanied by RWPGM Bo Andrew Miller along with 16 Provincial colleagues.
At the end of the meeting the DoC presented Bro Robert Stanfield PM to the RWPGM Bro Andrew Miller. The RWPGM, accompanied by the DPGM Bro Norman Carnegie, PDPGM Bro Stewart Wood and Worthy Secretary Bro Mitchell Paterson PM thereafter presented Bro Stanfield with Honorary Grand Junior Deacon Jewel and Diploma. The RWPGM thanked Bro Stanfield for his unstinting and devoted service to both Lodge 177 and Provincial Grand Lodge.
Bro Stanfield thanked the RWPGM for the presentation as well as thanking the lodge and brethren for affording him the honour of representing the Lodge at PGL. Bro Stanfield was overjoyed with the honour and looks forward to wearing his new jewel with pride. After the completion of the meeting the brethren retired and enjoyed light refreshments in the main hall.

Visit to Lodge St Andrew Coatbridge 544

On Thursday 17th Feb 2022, I had the great pleasure of attending Lodge St Andrew 544 Coatbridge, once again it was nice to be back in the company of our good friends at 544.
A truly excellent Mark Degree was conducted by the Lodge Past Masters and Wardens and I am sure the candidate Bro Douglas Craig thoroughly enjoyed the occassion, as did the assembled Brethren.
It was also a great privilege to be invited to the East by the RWM. Fraternal greetings were conveyed by myself and reciprocated from RWM 544.
After the completion of the meeting the brethren retired and enjoyed light refreshments in the lounge.

Visit to Lodge Cambuslang Royal Arch 114

On Wednesday 16th January 2022, I had the pleasure of attending Lodge
Cambuslang Royal Arch 114. It was a great privilege to be invited to the East
along with 2 other visiting Reigning Masters.
As this was the annual visitation of PGL, a large and distinguished deputation
from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Lanarkshire MW was admitted and received by
the RWM. The deputation was ably led by SPGM Bro. Laird McDonald, accompanied
by RWPGM Bo Andrew Miller along with 11 Provincial colleagues.
An excellent FC degree was carried out by the Lodge Office Bearers and was well
received by the assembled brethren and candidates alike.
An added please was witnessing the presentation of a 60 year Diploma to Bro
Woodhouse a MM of 114, by the RWM, SPGM and PGM.
After the completion of the ceremonies the brethren retired and enjoyed light
refreshments in the lounge.

Visit to Lodge Old Monkland St James 177

On Tuesday 15th Feb 2022, I had the pleasure of attending Lodge Old Monkland St
James 177, although this was a business meeting it was nice to be back in the
company of our good friends at 177.
It was also a great privilege to be invited to the East, along with Bro David
McKee the RWM of 544.
After the main business was concluded, the RWM Bro Harry Morgan, introduced Bro
John Hulme PM of Lodge St Andrew Coatbridge 544 who delivered an excellent and
informative talk on the roles and responsibilities of Freemasons, this was well
received by the assembled brethren.
Additionally Bro Stewart Wood PM gave a briefing on “Every life matters” a
Grand Lodge of Scotland Mental Health and Well-being Initiative, each lodge
will receive small booklets containing essential information and telephone
numbers.
After the completion of the meeting the brethren retired and enjoyed light
refreshments in the main hall.

On Thursday 3rd Feb 2022, I had the pleasure of attending Lodge St Andrew 544
Coatbridge, although this was a business meeting it was nice to be back in the

greetings were conveyed by myself on behalf of the visitors and reciprocated

It was an added pleasure to meet Bro Jim Fingland who is the nephew of Bro
Robert Fingland a beloved member and brother of Whifflet St John 963.

On Tuesday 1st Feb 2022, accompanied by our WSW Bro Andrew Chalmers PM, I had
the pleasure of attending Lodge Caldercruix, St John 1314 where we witnessed a
truly excellent rendition of the MM degree.
The degree was carried out by the Lodge Office Bearers and was well received by
the assembled brethren and candidate alike. It was a special occassion for Bro
Billy Murray PM who assisted in the degree and considering it was his son who
was raised, congratulations Bro's Billy and Derek.
It was also a great privilege to be invited to the East along with the visiting

I had the pleasure of attending Lodge Cumbernauld St Andrew 199 where we
witnessed an excellent exemplification of the EA degree.
The degree was carried out by the Lodge Office Bearers and was well received by
the assembled brethren and candidate alike.
It was also a great privilege to be invited to the East along with the RWM od
Lodge 1602. I also conveyed the apologies of Bro Bill McFadyen PM which
was well received by the RWM Bro Mel Durbin and brethren who asked after PM Bro
MacFadyens health.

RWM 88 and Bro Tom Reid PM 88 to Lodge St Bryde 579 where we witnessed an
excellent FC degree.
The degree was carried out by the Lodge Office Bearers and was well received by
the assembled brethren and candidate alike.
It was also a great privilege to be invited to the East along with Bro John
Gray RWM 88 and Bro Jim White Lodge Milton 1520 .
It was also an added privilege and pleasure to convey a vote of thanks on
behalf of the degree team, to which Bro Allex Hamilton PM gave a suitable
reply.

Visit to Lodge St John 540 Crossgates

On Saturday 8th January 2022, I had the pleasure of attending Lodge St John 540 Crossgates Annual Installation in the Province of Fife and Kinross.
A deputation from the PGL of Fife and Kinross headed by the RWPGM Bro Stewart J. Quigley and accompanied by a distinguished Provincial Grand Lodge Deputation was well received by the RWM.
A truly enjoyable installation of the new RWM Bro. John Hume was conducted by RWIM Bro. Rankin Clarkson, RWIM Bro. James B. Stewart and RWIM Bro. Hugh W. Martin. At the end of the meeting, it was a great privilege and pleasure to speak on behalf of the visitors from out with the Province of Fife and Kinross and to say a few words on the ceremonial.
After the ceremony of installation, the brethren enjoyed an excellent meal and a great evening of Lodge Harmony and Hospitality followed.

Visit to Lodge St Thomas 306 Larkhall
5 April 2019
Bro Billy McPheat had great pleasure in attending a special meeting at Lodge St Thomas 306 Larkhall, where a team of Reigning Masters from the Province of Lanarkshire Upper Ward headed by RWM Bro Callum Beattie 236 conferred the 3rd Degree on one of Lodge St Thomas 306 Fellow Craft freemasons. The evening was enhanced by deputations from the Provincial Grand Lodges of Lanarkshire Upper and Middle Ward who were headed by Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Bro. Bill Perry.
A further distinguished deputation from the Grand Lodge of Scotland led by the Most Worshipful Grand Master Mason Bro Wm Ramsay McGhee was presented to RWM Bro David Faulkner who welcomed the Grand Master and Grand Lodge Officers into the Temple.
This unique event was witnessed by over 100 Brethren, who were treated to a most wonderful rendition of the 3rd High and Sublime Degree of a Master Mason, to which I am sure the candidate will remember for many years to come.
At the conclusion of the ceremony all Brethren were cordially invited to attend the Lodge harmony in the lounge. A truly excellent evening was had by all and I thank RWM Bro Dave Faulkner for their kind hospitality.
Visit to Lodge Coltswood Glenboig 1067

Bro Billy McPheat and PM Bro Andy Chalmers attended Lodge
Coltswood Glenboig 1067 this evening 4 April. We both wish thank RWM Bro Iain
Reid and the Brethren for the warmth and cordiality of the welcome we both received.
We were treated to a truly excellent rendition of the 3rd degree, carried out
by RWM, PMs and Office bearers of Lodge St Thomas 306, without doubt one of the
best renditions of the 3rd degree I have witnessed in 25yrs in the craft, well
done to the RWM and his team for a great night.
Thanks again to the RWM and Brethren of 1067 for their excellent hospitality and
harmony, we look forward to visiting again in the not too distant future.
Visit to Lodge Hilton St Andrew 1220 Dundee

It was great pleasure and honour that the RWM Bro. Jim Durning had the opportunity to attend the Ceremony of Installation at Lodge Hilton St Andrew 1220 in Dundee, where he received a warm and cordial welcome from RWM Bro. Chris Mulholland and the Brethren of 1220.
The installation was carried out in excellent fashion by the installing board and work was a treat to behold. The RWM thoroughly enjoyed the occasion and conveyed fraternal greetings from the Brethren of Lodge Whifflet St John 963.
Deputation to Lodge Coltswood Glenboig 1067

I
would like to thank all of my deputation who accompanied me on my first
deputation to my Mother Lodge of Coltswood Glenboig 1067, where we received a
very warm welcome from RWM Iain Reid and his brethren.
As was mentioned in our worthy treasurers bro John Hunter reply to the very
kind vote of thanks by RWM Kenny Roberson from lodge Caldercruix 1314, our
lodge took the 2nd half of last year out to get back to basics and work hard on
our degree work. It was a pleasure and reassuring to carry out our first degree
work of the year amongst great friends and in a relaxed atmosphere.
I was delighted to preside over the degree team last night and see the hard
work they have put in come good.
Once again thank you to RWM Iain Reid and his brethren for the warm welcome and
excellent harmony.
To my own brethren, thanks and keep up the hard work. See you all on Tuesday at
our own regular meeting.

Visitation to Lodge Saltscar 5173 Redcar
Bro. Billy McPheat had the privilege of being invited to witness a Master Masons degree in Lodge Saltscar 5173, Redcar in the Province of Yorkshire North and East Ridings under the Constitution of the Grand Lodge of England.
An excellent rendition of the 3rd degree was carried out by WM Bro. Gibson and his Office Bearers, the vote of thanks and fraternal greetings were conveyed in the usual manner before retiring to the Festive Board.
An excellent meal and refreshments were served at the Festive Board along with the requisite toasts of the evening. Bro McPheat was invited to reply to the toast to the visitors to which he offered a suitable response which was well received by the WM and Brethren.
A truly wonderful night was had by all in attendance and Bro Nick Green thanked the WM and Brethren for raising him the 3rd degree. Bro Billy McPheat was presented with a province lapel badge by the Lodge Secretary to mark the visit for which Bro McPheat was sincerely thankful.
Fraternal greetings were again conveyed to the WM and all were thanked for their kind hospitality.
